The Capital Chamber Singers is made up of 8 very talented teenagers who perform on their own and with the Capital Children's Choir. In April 2006 they sang at the Vatican for an audience of thousands which included Pope Benedict, during a memorial mass for Pope John Paul II. The
Capital Chamber Singers have performed entirely classical concerts, but
are equally happy singing Country &
Western, Blues, Rock,
Indian Classical, Jazz,
Pop, Berlin Cabaret,
Musical Theatre, Latin,
Grunge, Punk and Folk.
The Capital Chamber Singers rehearse for two hours each week. They record their own album every year, and regularly perform in London's most prestigious venues, especially the Royal Albert Hall. They also regularly tour to Italy.
