Rachel
Santesso studied oboe and piano at the University of Victoria in Canada,
and voice at both the Conservatory of Victoria and the Conservatorio di
Verona in Italy. Rachel made her professional debut as soprano soloist with the Victoria Symphony Orchestra under Peter McCoppin when she was 19, and has since appeared with major orchestras, ensembles and artists at venues and festivals around the world. She has also performed as soprano soloist for Pope John Paul II. Rachel's album, "The Songs of Louis Vierne" was released on the Deux-Elles label in July 2005. You can find it under "Vierne" in the classical section of all HMV and Virgin stores, or on the internet.
