We are very excited... December 8 - Members of the Capital Children's Choir appeared on BBC news, together with singer/songwriter Malcolm Middleton. December 5 - The Capital Chamber Singers performed at the Dorchester for the NSPCC annual Christmas gala, with Jonny Wilkinson. December 4 - Members of the Capital Children's Choir recorded at AIR Studios. November 26 - Members of the Capital Children's Choir recorded 4 tracks with Malcolm Middleton at the BBC Maida Vale Studios. You can see the podcast on the BBC Radio 1 website. November 1 - The chamber choir performed at the Royal Horticultural Hall for the Jo's Trust Gala, presented by Gabby Logan. News Archives The Capital Children's Choir, Junior Chamber Singers and Capital Chamber Singers were asked to record a single at Abbey Road Studios on September 30th, 2006 The song, written by Rachel Santesso, was commissioned for the launch of the world's first anti-cervical cancer vaccine. *** The UK launch took place at the Hilton on October 17th, 2006 and the song was performed for delegates from Merck and Sanofi Pasteur. You can see the performance by clicking here. *** The girls then performed it with Heather Small at The Royal Albert Hall on October 18th, 2006. *** On December 6th, 2006, members of the Capital Children's Choir and the Capital Chamber Singers performed at the Dorchester ballroom for the annual NSPCC city dinner. The Capital Chamber Singers sang for a crowd of thousands - and Pope Benedict- at the Vatican on Sunday, April 2nd, 2006. Hundreds of thousands of people came from all over the world to celebrate the first anniversary of Pope John Paul II's death.
