Rachel Santesso

Artistic Director

Rachel Santesso is the founder and director of the Capital Children’s Choir. She is also an award-winning soprano and composer, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts. She has released two internationally-acclaimed classical solo albums, and performed in front of royalty and for Pope John Paul II. Her performances and recordings have been broadcast around the world.

Rachel Santesso is also highly regarded as a composer and arranger. She has written scores,songs and arrangements for numerous independent film companies, pop artists and global brands.

Rachel Santesso studied oboe and piano at the University of Victoria in Canada, and voice and oboe at the Conservatorio E.F Dall’Abaco in Verona, Italy. She is also an accomplished violinist.
