The Capital Children’s Choir is open to everyone! Whether you have years of experience or have never sung in a choir before, our classes are for anyone who loves to sing.
Junior Classes
Our junior classes are for ages 8-12* - No auditions are required and no previous experience is necessary. Classes are friendly and everyone is made to feel welcome, from complete beginners to highly advanced. There are several different locations to choose from, and rehearsals take place once a week. Alongside regular classes, junior choristers can also enjoy a range of performance opportunities. *Seven year olds are now eligible for our Saturday class!
Senior Classes
Singers aged 13-18 who are interested in joining one of our senior classes, can submit an audition at any time during the year. There are four different class locations to choose from - alongside weekly lessons, our senior members receive an introduction to all different areas of the music industry, and enjoy a range of performance and recording opportunities.
HOLIDAY COURSES
Summer 2024
Singer-Songwriter Camp: For developing singer-songwriters, from beginner level to advanced. Our highly successful summer course is now accepting early applications for July 2024. Learn how to start writing songs - or dramatically improve your songwriting, arranging and producing skills. Work in a recording studio alongside our team of Grammy Award-winning record producers, composers, music publishers and leading record label A&R. Private Lessons: For singers or songwriters who would like to book individual lessons with one of our highly experienced coaches. From beginner level to advanced. Please note that Rachel is currently fully booked for the remainder of the year.
